Is this as good as it gets?

Find the connection and purpose you've been missing.
The conversation starts here.

Life in your 20s and 30s is supposed to be about potential and excitement. But for many of us, it feels like being surrounded by friendly faces yet struggling to find a true sense of belonging.

You might be navigating your studies or career, keeping up with friends, and doing all the 'right' things, but there's a quiet, nagging sense that something is off. A disconnection from others, from your own purpose, and maybe even from yourself.

Rates of loneliness have doubled since the 1980s. The number of people with no close confidants has never been higher. And young adults are the loneliest of all. Psychologist Dr. Todd Hall calls it a connection crisis, and Robert Putnam's landmark research suggests the social structures that teach us how to connect have been quietly weakening for fifty years. Oxford doesn't cause this. But it amplifies it.

Grow for Good is a mentoring initiative for young adults in Oxford. Through one-to-one mentoring and authentic community, we offer a confidential space to understand the patterns shaping your life, build more honest relationships, and find a deeper sense of purpose.

It's not about quick fixes. It's a relational journey toward a more whole and integrated life.

You too?

For years, my life looked good from the outside. But on the inside I felt stuck. I was caught in cycles of unhealthy relationships, numbing a deep sense of disconnection with drinking, video games, and work. I was considered a leader. Nobody saw the emptiness underneath.

The change didn't start with an answer. It started with a question — a moment of honesty that made me wonder if there was something more. A deeper purpose. A spiritual connection I'd never explored.

What actually shifted things were relationships. A therapist and a mentor didn't just give me advice. They offered what Dr. Todd Hall calls relational knowledge. They helped me feel seen. They loved me into loving myself, others, and — for the first time — connecting with God.

My journey isn't over. But it's why I do this work.

Sharing my story in a space of listening — without anyone trying to fix me — was incredibly healing. I learned to find opportunities for connection everywhere, from a university college to a conversation in a local barbershop.

This moved me from just thinking about things to tangible action. I was challenged to let go of a daily crutch, and in that space, I found a powerful clarity and a deeper source of strength I never knew I had.
